When you adjust the spring prestressing, you move the spring seat. This will decrease or increase the initial force of the spring, which will lower or raise the rear driving height of the motorcycle. The prestress of the spring is fundamental for the proper functioning of the suspension. If prestressing is incorrectly adjusted, all other adjustments will not make it possible to obtain the desired performance of the suspension.
