Ducati unveils the new Panigale V2 2024, a real black beast

Ducati unveils a new captivating color for the Panigale V2 with a superb black shade on black. This twin -cylinder sports ducati plays its charms to seduce enthusiasts who seek more than raw power.

Ducati is currently shining in the world of motorcycle competition. With Francesco Bagnaia winning the title of world champion in MotoGP and their MotoGP prototype considered as the most efficient motorcycle of the moment, the brand is at the top. In addition, Alvaro Bautista has become world champion in WSBK on the Panigale V4R, a real rocket among standard motorcycles. Ducati is therefore experiencing a radiant success in the field of motorcycle competition.

Ducati also offers a "more accessible" sportswoman at all levels with the Panigale V2, marketed in 2020 (see our test) (as well as the V2 Bayliss variant). Indeed, the Panigale V2 has 155 horsepower and 104 Nm of torque, with a dry weight of 176 kg, while the Panigale V4 (standard version) displays 215.5 hp, 124 nm of torque and a dry weight of 175 kg. It is clear that the impressive performance of the formidable V4 eclipses those of the V2. However, how many amateur pilots are able to fully exploit a V4 panigal on track? Very little, or even almost none. On the other hand, the Panigale V2, with its more "human" power, is much more accessible and rewarding for the majority of bikers.

This new 2024 Black Panigal version therefore features a dark dress, as the press release points out: "The predominance of matt dark gray is interspersed with brilliant black elements, offering a refined final combination. The livery is supplemented by the Panigale logo V2 And red details on the tank, fairings and wheels. Another novelty introduced by the black livery on black is the saddle, whose graphics and materials have been renewed. " In a word, it is magnificent, even sublime.

Regarding availability, it will soon be available, while the price remains faithful to the Ducati tradition: from € 20,190, a significant increase compared to 2020, where its price was € 18,290. It is true that Ducati has long turned to the luxury motorcycle. As a reminder, the V2 Bayliss is offered from € 23,090 and the standard V4 from € 25,790.
