Jonway, the Chinese manufacturer renowned for its scooters in France, expands its offer with the launch of two new motorcycles on the French market: the Y400 and V400.
Having already established a solid presence in China, Jonway seriously embarks on the French market with his new range of custom motorcycles. The company aims to make France its main European distributor for its custom motorcycles. Jonway is known for its remarkable performance, especially with the mini electric urban scooter Y2, offered at less than € 1,000, which was presented by Motoservices. Currently, the Jonway distribution network has 66 official points of sale in France, with the aim of reaching 120 by mid-2024. This expansion marks a major turning point for the company founded in 2003, which was mainly recognized in France for its scooters imported so far.
The Y400 and the Jonway V400 share the same technical characteristics. They are both powered by a V-Twin engine, 4-stroke of 400 cc, offering a maximum speed of around 140 km/h and a maximum torque of 28 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Jonway motorcycles seem to be inspired by the emblematic design of the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob, presenting similarities both in terms of style and aesthetics. Like the emblematic models of the famous Milwaukee company, these two new Chinese motorcycles are equipped with a belt transmission offering fluid driving. Stability is provided by tires of 120/80 at the front and 150/80 at the rear, mounted on 16 -inch rims. In a custom spirit, the saddle height is low, only 710 mm, to offer greater comfort. The two vehicles are also equipped with an ABS system, an LCD screen and LED lighting.
The Y400 and the V400 are available from € 5,990, with the first deliveries scheduled for France for the end of July. The brand offers a 3 -year warranty for these models.
