Il n'est pas toujours évident de comprendre les réglages d'un amortisseur. Voici donc des explications simples sur leurs fonctionnements, pour vous permettre de mieux les appréhender si vous optez pour un système qui vous le permet.

• Détente ou rebond : Le réglage du rebond (ou la détente) permet de déterminer la vitesse à laquelle la suspension revient à sa position initiale après avoir amorti un choc. S'il est trop rapide, vous pouvez ressentir un effet ressort qui peut vous déstabiliser.

• Compression ou dureté : La compression permet de régler la vitesse à laquelle l'amortisseur se comprimes lors du passage d’une bosse. Si la compression est trop lente, la moto sera ferme et peu confortable. À l'inverse, si elle est trop rapide, l'amortisseur risque d'atteindre sa butée, rendant votre moto plus difficile à piloter.

• Précharge ou précontrainte : La précharge (ou précontrainte) est un ajustement qui permet de serrer le ressort d'amortisseur à l’arrière ou les ressorts de fourche à l’avant. L’idée essentielle à retenir est qu’en préchargeant le ressort, on le serre sans pour autant comprimer tout l’amortisseur, vous ne changez donc pas sa dureté. C’est ce qui fait toute la différence, car avec une précharge plus élevée, un même poids ajouté sur la moto fera moins s'enfoncer la suspension. En d'autres termes, en augmentant la précharge du ressort, on peut maintenir le débattement effectif de la suspension même en augmentant la charge transportée sur la moto.

The 2win is a shock absorber of adjustable suspension in a single button for compression and the relaxation simultaneously, which is manufactured with ultra-light materials and machined in mass for a quality finish and good protection. It has 14 levels of adjustment different, called “clicks”, to adjust the compression and the relaxation in a synchronized manner while maintaining a good balance between the two.

PERFORMANCE AND LIGHTNESS

The shock absorbers 2win have a construction refined who makes them extremely light. All components are manufactured by numerical control and the aluminum parts are protected by one anodizing natural to provide additional protection. The springs are also protected by technical protective paint epoxy polyester for one increased durability.

ADJUSTABLE TO DESIRE

The shock absorbers 2win are adjustable both in terms of spring preload (with key provided) and in terms of hydraulic adjustment. The simple dial allows you to choose from a wide adjustment range for the compression and the relaxation, with 14 levels of clicks reference. Each click changes the compression and rebound settings in sync, maintaining an optimal balance between the two.

With the shock absorbers 2win, you can take a real control of your suspension: If it is too soft, just add one or two clicks to feel the difference and obtain a personalized setting adapted to your needs. If it is too firm, you can soften it to your preference.

CUSTOMIZED

It is also possible to order custom shock absorbers, with reinforced springs available without additional cost, and shock absorbers specially adapted for sidecars. Do not hesitate to contact us for this.

RECONDITIONABLE

The shock absorbers 2win are entirely reconditionable after intensive use. You can have them revised in the workshops SHOCK FACTORY, even after many kilometers.

WARRANTY

The combination of all the characteristics of shock absorbers 2win allows us to offer you a two year warranty, without mileage limitation, for use only on roads and/or speed circuits. If any problems arise after the end of the warranty period, our after-sales service is available to overhaul or repair your shock absorber quickly.
